Problem installing Windows 7 onto Lenovo U310

Hi guys,

i have this laptop. lenovo u310. and i am unable to install windows 7. it always keep coming out this error.

anyone hv any clue about this?

what i have tried.
removing raid array (does not work)
changing from RAID to AHCI or back to RAID (does not work)
installing from different sources via USB (does not work)
wipe hdd clean and reinstall (does not work)

Maybe you can take out the ram and wipe the copper fins with eraser and reinstall back and check again.

What was tge original operating system? Windows 8?

Change BIOS mode from UEFI to Legacy

The original os is win 7. bios is in legacy mode.

anyways thanks all! i hv solved the problem. it was all due to the raid controller driver. i needed to use win 7 with sp1. otherwise won get through...
