hey guy, just faced this problem a few hours ago. wanted to do video recording when suddenly the camera app hanged/frozed and then i after i "killed" the app, all camera-related app including instagram etc cannot take photos using the rear camera. the display is completely black. the front-facing camera works well. anyone faced this problem and managed to resolve it? i really dont wish to go back to singtel and possibly get a refurbished set. i was able to take photos from my phone just last saturday and i honestly didnt drop it. i take good care of it.
update:
went down to singtel technical care and they tried all troubleshooting techniques to no avail. so i got a 1-to-1 replacement set. quite sure it's a refurbished set even though it came in a different shorter, wider box with no apple markings/logo on it. the iphone is wrapped with the film over it as per bnib set. found some dust which can be removed. other than that the screen and everything else looks perfect. they didnt mention anything abt extended warranty. so now i am checking with singtel abt how this affects my mobileswop policy that i signed up with them.
