and so.. my pc crashed suddenly and display will crash/hang/distorted image the moment the blue windows login screen came up.

so I reformated everything ok.
DVI cable is connected to HD7850 with default VGA driver - no issue.
the moment i install my gfx driver (HD7850 - after install still ok as driver not in use yet), restart pc, same thing again. distorted image and hang the moment windows login comes up.
Tried both stable and beta release of the driver - same problem.

reinserted my HD7850 to PCIe x4 slot and same thing happen - ok using default VGA driver, crash after loading up HD7850 driver

so is whos problem without having another gfx or mobo to test?

Likely your HD7850 going up lorry. Bring to distro if still under warranty. You can try older driver version first. What PSU are you using?
