Hi, wondering if anyone got experience with prolink IP cameras? Specifically I am using the PIC1005WN model, setup in my home. After setup, I tried to view the camera footage using their mobile app "mLiveView". I have tried both the Android and iPhone apps.

The problem is, on WiFi (tried both my home broadband connection, and my friend's wifi at another location), I can see the footage fine. But when I switch to 3G connection, I always get this error from the app "Password error".
Sometimes on WiFi I get this "Password error" too, but after a few tries its ok. The password is stored in the app, so Its not possible there is typo error.

I have enabled the 3GPP/RTSP settings on the cameras, and there was no need to do any port forwarding/DDNS setup on my router.

Contacted the Prolink support, and they said to update the firmware. I did so, but the problem still remains...:s11:

ANyone have this similar isssue?

Let me share my experience with prolink ip cam pic1006wn. Bought it as of its great spec, real pnp, nas recording, etc.

But during power on, quite frequent it show disconnected or cam was offline.

Means you cant even see live view even you connect to same router!. It totally fail as it function for 24/7 security.

End of story. Ask for refund and waste on delivery charges and time

Sorry no offence to prolink but it's fact. The only advantage is it can record direct to nas.
