recieved my cheque liao. Now planning to sign shield insurance. great eastern seem quite good as I discussed with the agent.I should look up for more information 1st before signing anything.

TS honestly, i think you are wasting everyone's efforts in explaining why you shouldn't surrender this policy. Oh well. Your money your choice.

Sorry I'm not mean to generalize and I did have similar negative experience with agent. I bought my first policy from a prudential agent many years back and she told me it takes about at least 2-3 months to issue the policy. I was innocent during the time and didn't know anything so whatever she said is OK. The truth is that she already got enough sales for the year to qualify for the incentive trip so she wanted to push my case to next year reporting (I met her in Nov). I was lucky never die or disabled in accident during that two months otherwise who shall I claim the coverage from? I only figured this out a few years later, since that I always bypass the agent and walk in prudential center to submit forms directly. A lot of customers sign without date or even pre-sign forms and it's also not easy for compliance department to catch agent wrongdoings.

Hi acidrain86, may I kindly know the reason why u've dropped ILP? u bought PRULINK too?
