PS/2 vs USB for keyboards

Technically, I think it's not disputed that PS/2 is better..

However, can the difference be felt by the user?

Is it a big enough deal that it should be a factor to consider when buying keyboards?

PS2 keyboard has limited features, unable to cope with today backlight as well as macro keys. At the same time, motherboard manufacturers are reducing/eliminating PS2 port.
