You get 280 under old scheme and AL4 under new scheme is technically the same thing no?

The question is new scheme got what difference to the old scheme?
Probably to bring better alignment to the subject based banding (sbb) system in secondary school.

https://www.schoolbag.edu.sg/story/...e-has-changed-with-full-subject-based-banding

The entire landscape is changing, no more express or normal stream moving forward. O level will also be scraped in the future.

Al 15 is around 228-9 in our time. Estimated.
Haha that's why my friend told me, equivalent to 225 in old scheme, I was thinking to myself, can reference back to old scheme, then wtf is the point of this new scheme??
