PSU choice for o11D mini

Hi all

need some advice on PSU for O11D mini

Can I use SX800 plat or SF750 plat for below:

cpu: 5900x
motherboard: x570 taichi
ram: Corsair Plat Dominator rgb 64gb
aio: kraken Z63
fans: 6x SL120
GPU: 6900 xt
3x nvme 1tb
2x HDD
2x lianli strimer plus

last i check the watt requirement is around 650w

I cant find any higher PSU other than SX800 plat, SF750 plat and v850 gold (cm sfx), where i cant find the 850w one anywhere..

does that mean I cannot use o11D mini?

750W should be fine for your specs. Theres only a handful of high wattage SFX psu in the market but problem is most of them are now out of stock locally. You can try your luck and walk around SLS. Although your best bet is probably overseas sellers like Amazon etc. (just take note to forgo warranty, i recently got a SF750 from there too). Silverstone recently release a 1000W SFX but its overkill for your rig and dont think its available locally yet either

Note that the wattage calculator you usually find online already take into consideration safety margin. So don't double count.

Yes can. You should be fine with 750w and 800w psu.

Take note, the sleeved cables for sf750 is kinda short. But for o11 mini is fine.

If you are looking. Fuwell has both sf750 and sx800l in stocks. V850 i think pc themes has it.

It adopt the same design as the original o11.

As a o11 lover. I have used from the 2016 lian li o11, made of aluminium. That case was a flop in design. But the airflow was really good. I managed to cool 5820k and 1080 seahawk with 1 360mm radiator.

Then comes the o11 dynamic. Without a doubt it is a much improved for water cooling. But with minor issues with the designed side fan mount. Together with the super cramp bottom area and probably no space for thick rads if we want all 3 rads to be mounted.

Tried o11 air. Nice design. Just find it a bit "too black" everywhere. In the end 6 months sold it away.

When they launch the o11 xl version it is by far the best case i have used. Solved whatever the o11 dynamic is short for.

Now i have moved to the o11 mini lol.

They are all of the same design every interations. Just further improvements. Air flow also the same.

Lol so different. There is a unique feature on o11 mini. And that is the ability to shift the mobo downwards for bigger rads.

For the setup that you are having I would suggest the 750w PSU to be on the safe side. Corsair as one pretty decent. Otherwise I think Silverstone have a 800w SFX power supply which it platinum series but more costly

This O11D series comes w Debaur name tag on it... design for AIO and custom loop in mind... it even comes with 3 pump reservoir brackets... (rather they make it optional and save a few bucks)
Only complain is the PSU bracket, your hand is tied to use SFX PSU because the designer intentionally reduce the space off by 3mm....
