May I know for put option, is the asset tangible?
Does the buyer actually own the asset or is it just a contract?

put option on what?
in general a put option is a right to sell something at an agreed price at an agreed maturity

No. The put's a derivative - it's a contract referencing the asset, it doesn't convey any rights to the asset itself. (Until expiry, at least).

I charge $20 for homework questions, just so you know. You can wire it to my account at the Nicosia branch of Laiki Bank.
