This is where I think many are not aware that using angle fittings may cause the drop in flow rate but with today standards of d5 pump and if you use high end fittings, the difference is very negligible.
Todays d5 pump say EK d5 is moving 1500L/h worth of water. That's already 25L in a min. That is capable to push a lot of water through almost any kind of single loop setup. Not unless you have 3 or more series of very resistive radiators.
For fittings, many also do not realise it is highly dependent on how the manufacturer creates their fittings inside. There are some brands that creates angle fittings that are looks like a single tube pass thru inside. Some create it with a angular bend.
But in all, the amount of angle fittings used should not impact the flow rate that much nowadays. Especially when you have a single d5 pump that is able to move that much water in a min.
FYI, my rig uses nothing but angle fittings because it is made entirely out of glass tubes.
If going by the theory that two* angle fittings reduces the flow rate by 10%, I would have a non functioning rig or a overheating rig.
But I'm a happy user with an overclocked gpu and cpu temps such as 43degC and 56degC on gaming load.
