pte hosp plan cost ard 1.8k

total per pax ard 2.4k annual premiums

can ur parents afford that for 5 yrs and after 65, pay more again for the next five yrs and continuously?

For our parents generation they may not be able to afford since the effect of compounding is already long gone and they did not have access to the knowledge available to us now.

But despite so, I am sure any fillial son or daughter wont mind paying for the premium?

At least I wont mind as long as it I can have the peace of mind if something happens, they need not go through the long wait at government hospitals. I have been through it myself and the wait is horrendous for non life threatening cases. (Doesnt mean no pain btw)

But anyway, this is just me, and not from an agents perspective. People like Layers have shared his uncle's experience as well.

I was turn away with 41 degree fever. And turns out to be pneumonia. I bet my fortune cos of not enuff beds

And recently met someone who work in social services like elder care hospital.

Heard that elderlys sent to govt hospital for 41 degree fever was send back n died due to pneumonia.
