why not?????

How to drag? If wanna drag must pre-planned already.

1)Must indent medic and safety rover with driver
2)inform MO,
3)Indent ration for sat ( indent 20 for RT maybe still can request but 160 pax (1 company:eek:)
4)indent transport (ferry, if u are in school 4 den maybe indent tonner or bus)

what i mean dragging means night live firing cannot finish, maybe got backup 1 more day. And its already planned as backup liao because if dont do now next week might be another company

if dont do live firing, those who never do live firing no need to POP.

Just because cannot finish one PT session or not up to standard den you have to rock the whole tekong.

My BMT company practically made us book out on every Saturday.

The only reason why we didn't book out on Friday is because of extra PT sessions :( Incentive given for those who pass IPPT is to book out straight away after morning PT sessions on Saturday while those who fail IPPT will book out at 2pm Saturday afternoon.

I think they permanent book medic and everything else. SAF is 5 and a half day work week. So if they made u stay back on sat. They will not give you leave or off.

Its 5.5, but most of the time is 5. The 0.5 is for RT. Thats why if there are any training drag to sunday, They have to give off in lieu.

punishment not counted.

If let say SAF is 5 days, I think i got a lot of off in lieu in bmt. becos i RT everyweek :s13:

saf everything have to indent one. just that on sat, there are probably no more company in tekong liao. but there is still medic on duty. the medical centre can be a ******* and not give you any medic on the ground that your company nvr indent before hand

1) the company can just indent medic and drivers for every saturday, and then inform them on thurs/fri that the training is cancelled so no need to be present on saturday.

2) every sat/sun confirm got people stay back in tekong... confinement, RT, SOL, guard duty, etc. so informing the MO and medical center is just a formality.

3) ration is more problematic cos SAF very anal about food wastage but it still can be done. the company can just indent for the whole company and then just out-ration for those that already booked out. but and then some poor guy will have to discreetly dispose of all those unconsumed ration.

4) ferry can don't indent and just rely on the routine saturday ferry timing to send them back.

1) If the company do this, quite irresponsible leh. If that is the practice among whole tekong. Imagine how many companys are there in tekong, how many medic have to always be on standby?

If the company play them lik that sure tio mark. Next time they wont support even u indent. In the end just because need to drag physical training until sat then kana mark and blacklist. Not worth it.:(

of course you do not indent a medic for every saturday all the way until ORD.

strenuous activities like outfields, route march, and SOC would have been planned before bmt even began. so you won't schedule any RT on those weeks, and thus no need to indent medic.

and there is no dragging for physical training until saturday because everything has to be planned before hand, right now to the exact duration of the activity.

even if wet weather occurred, the physical training can be conducted indoors under shelters, and not dragged.

and the only reason for there to be physical training on saturdays is because of RT... which in turn is due to not passing IPPT.

and unfortunately every company will have a bunch of recruits who cannot pass their IPPT and have to be "motivated" by conducting RT on saturdays.

and it is not as if every company is tekong is training new recruits at the same time. while some companies are training new recruits, others are having a lull period whereby there are no recruits.

so at any point in time, the medical center is only supporting half (or slightly more than half) of the total number of companies in tekong.

based on wiki, there are 21 companies in the "main" BMTC area. so at any one time, there are only slightly more than 10 companies having recruits so supporting them all during saturday by providing a medic isn't really that hard. even the really small medical center in my really small army camp has more than 10 medics.

not gonna write anymore cos it is becoming a wall of text...

Thats what i said in the first place. There will be hardly dragging of physical training from fri to sat since its not planned before hand.

I am just listing all the constrain as a conducting officer.:)
