Question: Anyone face this macbook pro error before

Hi,

Guy i need some expert help on this.

After i key in my usual password to login and it start to load. but when i load 1/3 my screen turn black and nothing happens.

i keep restarting my macbook and do the above step again it will always turn black screen after 1/3 loading.

what is wrong and what can i do? harddisk spolit? or

if i can solve it myself i will try, else i think i need to send in for repair.

Maybe it's kernel panic. Do you remember what software did you last install before this happens?

try to boot up in Safe Mode by holding down Shift button on startup, see if it brings you to desktop successfully. If so, there is some 3rd party software that is causing this, remove all items in System Preferences > Users > Login Items

Kelvin... i do saw one kernel word in the first line of "safe mode" code...

I dont remember i install anything recently.

Totally dont want what to do now

B772er ... i try to go safe mode but saw the first line of code error and also the word kernel... and it auto restart again

Perhaps you may want to try repairing the disk with disk utility?

most of my files is in my external hard disk and i do have some files on my desktop which i didnt backup.

Can take out and attach to sata to usb adaptor
