Recently, my friend brought a condo and had loan with maybank. Duriing April, he signed all the required (from lawyer and bank). Till now the bank haven't start the monthly deduction from his account.

Will there be any problem because my friend tot I might know but I am not too sure too. Advised him to go call may bank up as I am worried that they will charge interest on him

First installment due date will be one month after the transaction completion date.

Now that you mentioned it, is the property under some payment deferred scheme?

That one i am not too sure. Have to ask. Alright best way for him is to call Maybank. I am also quite curious because very soon i am going to apply for my first property.
but the funny thing is after about 5 months, there is no deduction from the bank account nor his cpf account. No notice to ask to pay up also. Account inside got more than enough cash to deduct and it was opened solely for the account.

Yes, asking the bank would be the best. A point to note is that banks are very efficient when it comes to non-payment of loans.:s22:
