Question on Aftershock PC components

Had quite a bit of hassle with my previous desktop (made several trips just to troubleshoot and fix one gigabyte mobo), I want to get an aftershock PC so that I won't have to take leave to RMA my parts and all that.

Aftershock's customised desktops are really expensive compared to their prebuilt, so I finally landed on the following:

• AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600X
• ASUS B550M TUF Plus Gaming Motherboard
• AFTERSHOCK M-40v2 FROST AIR COOLING
• 16GB ADATA SPECTRIX D50 3600mhz RGB
• ASUS RTX 3080 TUF GAMING 10GB (OC, LHR)
• 1TB AFTERSHOCK GEN4 PRO SSD R:7100 W:5500
• FSP 750W 80+ Gold PSU
• AX Wireless + Bluetooth Included
• RAPID HIGH AIRFLOW MESH CHASSIS
• 3 Years Warranty (1st Year Onsite)

I've been researching a bit and the CPU, mobo, and GPU seem quite good. Ram seems...passable. Would have preferred something else, but can't change prebuilt parts. However, anyone knows more about the quality of the Aftershock brand components (cooler and ssd)?

In particular the PSU also looks really iffy since there's no model. Checked with them over email, and they mentioned that the model is this: https://www.fsp-group.com/en/product/pcpsu/1595212187-993.html

Which is pretty much ungoogleable. Can't find in the PSU tier list also. Anyone knows what this is? LOL

If I could customise I'd prefer something like the 750W Superflower Leadex III which aftershock also has.

edit: Apparently the PSU is the FSP Hydro G, which seems decent. Hopefully I'll be able to verify this if I do get the pc.
Cooler is SE-224-RGB from ID cooling. Eh, seems ok for a budget cooler I guess.
SSD is some Phison SSD which I can't find reviews on.

Those in red are Aftershock own product, unknown which OEM they used.
The SSD probably is a Lexar which isn't good, see whether can change to Samsung or a better one.
FSP PSU are OK but to power a RTX3080 I would suggest a better psu like Seasonic or Corsair.

Overall isn't a good build, you can visit Sim Lim Square probably you can get something better.
Or consider Lenovo Legion gaming desktop if you need onsite warranty.

You have to take leave from 2nd yr onwards for RMA as 1st year is only onsite warranty. 2nd and 3rd yr is carry in liao. U need lug the whole PC to AS RMA centre.

Best you ask their customer service, if not go for OEM like Lenovo legion or HP Omen with onsite warranty

I think most of oem issue normally come in the 2nd or 3rd year.

anything happen in 1st year normally is the technician installation issue.

Went to check with them, apparently can upgrade the warranty to 3 years onsite. Anyway my experience with RMA is that they only open at office hours, so I definitely need to take leave to go and RMA the part. Meanwhile at least aftershock open till 8pm and on saturdays lol

Worst is if the problem is erratic and the RMA only fix partially the first time, then I need to go down several more trips. Just had a really bad experience with the mobo RMA for my first rig, so I don't want to have **** like that again especially if my work is picking up. I'm also not a fan of PC building anyways.

Phison SSD is OEM, can't be found in retail shop suggest change this.
Take note Aftershock RMA is also the same with DIY RMA process, meaning the part faulty
have to send in.

If got stock they can change but if don't have, have to wait few weeks.
So no difference with buying DIY parts from Sim Lim.
Branded wise different within 3 working days if got part they replace on the spot.
