Hi everyone ,

I need your help for some question as i study EEE during my poly days surprising they gave me exemptions for some modules to the course which i enroll (Com Sci).

Most of my friend are from jc so they are quite clueless when i ask them.

It is said that one need to fulfill a requirement of 138AUs in order to grad and of which , majority of the AUs would come from Core and Major PEs and the rest from GER(General Education and UEs (non-related to field of study).

My question here is does the exempted modules AUs still count?

So is exemption a good thing after all ?

Don't worry about that. You can graduate eventually. Good thing about having exemptions is that you can graduate in 3 years compared to 4 years :)

Exempted modules' AU count toward the 138 AUs, but do take note that there is a minimum number of graded AUs required to graduate.

I would say exemption is good as it gives you the opportunity to either load more modules or just simply channel more time to study the rest of the modules during the semester.

Only reject the exemptions if you are sure that you can obtain an 'A' grade for the exempted modules and at the same time do reasonably well for the rest of your modules.
