Question on Ram speeds

I'm running the Asrock Steel Legend B460 with G.skill Ripjaws 16gb kit DDR3000.

After updating the bios, i realize that the speed detected and running is at 2133. Is this normal? :s11:

Even i go to the OC page, it seems the max adjustable is only 2666.

which cpu are u using? anyway on intel's b and h series motherboards u cant push ram frequency beyond the cpu official spec, which is 2933 for i7 and i9, 2666 for i5 and below.

ahh...now i understand. I'm using the lake comet i5-10500

so apparently even you get higher specs ram, the results would still be the same. maybe should have just gotten the 2666 rams since that's the limit.
