Questions about NSTI Enlistment

I only recently received my enlistment notice and unlike many of my friends, I did not get an invitation to Tekong. I have yet to find anyone else among my friends who have gotten a similar letter to report to NSTI. My PES is B1 and from what I understand NSTI is a SCDF kind of thing? I have a few questions and hope that the sifus here can help answer >.<

1) How is NSTI different from Tekong?
2) What kind of people go to NSTI?
3) If I pass my pre-enlistment IPPT (which I have yet to) and obtain a 2 month reduction in NS, will I still be posted to NSTI?
