Hi, I am currently a storeman and wish to revocate to clerk as my hand will be in pain whenever i carry heavy objects due to past wrist fracture. Although I was given perm excuse of upper limb and heavy load but it seems to hold no weight in unit. May i know what should i do to revocate? Thanks.

Get letter from specialists to recommend revocation. But even if it stated that I think it also depend on unit to unit cuz I think very mafan a lot paper work. Probably they will let u do clerk at ur current unit

Honestly, your job scope as a storeman can never change unless you get the MO's letter to switch vocations or to STRICTLY be prohibited from heavy load. Because the problem is the unit itself isn't the doctor, they won't be able to gauge what is a heavy load to you.

Speak to your MO about it.

I used to face the same problem. Revocation not going to happen, but you may end up having two vocations (like me ==) lol if they send you for clerk training.

If really pain, please do sound off (eg really cannot carry the filled 20kg jerry can for example). But there are still many aspects of a store man that you can do w/o carrying heavy load, such as tidying the store, shifting the cambro, water pt etc. Try to make yourself useful for the time being whilst they try to find a clerk position for you bah
