Ram bottlenecking?

Hey guys, whats a good way to check if ram is bottlenecking / can be improved on?

currently on 8gb windows 10.

Will the task manager > performance tab suffice? basically looking at % used

You can try to monitor the usage of the page file, and track hard faults.

If you have a high rate of page faults combined with a high rate of page reads (which also show up in the Disk counters) then you may have an issue where you have insufficient RAM given the high rate of hard faults.

many many tabs haha. usually >10, usually w game in background alt tab too.

i see task manager like 70% if no game, 90% ++ if w game

Just look at ur usage lor. So far I only use >8gb when playing bf1. For normal tasks I hover around 4gb to 6gb

Memory\ Page Faults /sec, Memory\ Cache Faults /sec and Memory\ Page Reads /sec.

Go to Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools and go into Performance Monitor.
Enter the counters there.
