Hello

If I am currently using 2x 2gb DDR3 1333mhz kingston budget ram, can I buy 1 more 4gb ddr 3 1333mhz ram and slot into 3rd slot? Or should I buy 2 x 4gb and use them on 1st 2 slot then 2 x 2gb at 3rd and 4th slot. Will it affect anything? Or there is totally no issue which so ever?

Thanks!

No major issue, it should work.

Some motherboard will still recognise 2x2GB plus 1x4GB as Dual Channel which is the preferred configuration compared to Single Channel configuration. Having said that, the performance different is not noticeable thus don't bother whether the system run as dual or single channel configuration.

Thanks, I shall go with 2 x 2gb and 1x 4gb since 8gb is sufficient for me.
