If you like the sound, just buy. Its your ears that will be listening to it, not others.

But, in my opinion, you can try other brands/models to get a rough gauge of how it performs. Like Logitech Z623.

How do you think the swan m10 compares to the z623? Im thinking of getting either 1 of the two

Unfair comparison. If you audition then you will know.

Firstly one is close to $200 one is $130~.

Also one is for bass with sub on the floor. One is for music with the sub at ear level.

My opinion la.

If Budget is concern and you have the space for the sub on your table , I recommend M10

Inb4 the Razer bashing starts :s22:

I have the Razer Leviathan. Used it for almost 2 years. IMHO, if you're not fussy about sound, and don't have a lot of space on your desk, then it's a pretty decent purchase.

OTOH, if you are a self-professed audiophile like many here seem to be, then you may want to steer clear of this.

razer levi got "sleep mode" problems.. if no sound detected for 10~15mins, it will kick into sleep mode

Wanted to whack during BF sales, but decided against it because its really a chore to un-sleep it.

You serious anot, brudder? Just use 1 finger and press button nia to turn it back on, also a 'chore'?? LOL :s13:

Edit: guess you probably using it from a distance so always have to get up from your seat to turn it back on, that's why it's a chore.

That's the reason i stay clear of this too. It's a simple fix but razer refuse to fix it. There are script out there that will prevent the speaker from going into sleep mode until you power off your pc. But i pay so much and still need external source to help me fix a simple issue, then i'm not buying it.

if you turn it on and off multiple times during the session, isnt it a chore? Plus the design is a soundbar, meaning most likely it will be placed under the monitor flush, and having to press the button every now and then could cause potential purchase dissonance.

Its as simple as razer disabling the sleep mode, but they refuse to update it since the product was launched years ago.

edit: I did not buy it, it was one of my purchase consideration. I'm better off with my current speakers with a volume turner.

@xiaozozo

Understand that you have your own usage pattern, but for me I've never had to turn it on and off multiple times. I mean while gaming or listening to music, the soundbar will never turn off mah? It'll only turn off if you are idle for a while. I mean, ok la to me it's not that inconvenient plus it doesn't happen to me that often.

I do agree that there should be an option to adjust this setting though. Maybe can set the timing to go to sleep or to disable the sleep setting completely.

Same as most others. The auto sleep without auto wake is way too impractical.
Even my old speaker from creative at least 4~5 years ago can turn on automatically (from sleep mode) when the sound is played. If they can't do something from such old technology, I don't think they are that deserving. :s13:
