Good day all,

I have got a friend from Australia with a iPhone 4s (Carrier locked)
He has lost his Australian SIM card and updated to 5.1.1..... Since then, he can't unlock the phone, and the original carrier has been really not helpful one bit. Any idea if there is a way to unlock this? And to also unlock for him to use local sims?

Lastly, I heard Gevey Sim is the way to go... Any idea on that?

Has ur friend jailbroken his iphone? One way to unlock is to open up cydia n install ultrasnow fixer 5.1.1 and ultrasnow.

Use this guide to unlock ur phone. Only work on iphone 4 and 3gs on ios 5.01. Ur iphone need to be jailbroken first.
