Recieved unjustified infraction

Thread involved: Whats your expected or target return for 2015?

Purported cause of infraction:

Long story short

1. Member felixleong was banned.

2. As a result of natural, human curiosity, I ask WHY was this so in a thread that he started and has been very active in with the community agreeing his presence is a positive one overall. Yes, he might have advertised his dumb blog every now and then but it does not qualify as spam as simply put, I haven't seen it come up that often. Regardless, I don't really care even if the reason he got banned was for, say, posting monkey porn. What I am disgusted about is receiving an infraction for such trivial a post.

3. Many members who enquire about why thread starter got banned get infractions too. How can this be considered "digressing" if we are simply talking about something that is VERY relevant to the thread? We are talking about the person who started the thread, who updates the thread and how on earth is that OT?

4. I am a paying HWZ member. I might not contribute in terms of directly paying for advertisements or the such but as we are all aware, this forum bases its very existence upon user activity and hits. Is this how you treat your users?

5. This is a utter lack of professionalism and there is evidence of double standards and unchecked moderator abuse.

Mod or Admin, please get to the bottom of this mess. It certainly looks like over reaction no matter how you cut it, shooting infraction left and right. If so many people are asking the same thing, you gotta question the basis of whoever that is doing this.

It's getting to the point where people tio infraction ridiculously, whereas some people who obviously are trolling are just staying around and well, trolling. that baby comes to mind.

OT comments should be tolerated if it's still related to the thread. In felixleong's thread, he started it, he continues to update it, not with rubbish post(mind you), and generally provides a 'threadworthy thread' that has gathered so many people in that thread precisely because he is there. Is it really that OT to ask where is the person who maintains the thread is?

I would like to chime in that with such heavy handed moderation, the real experts and experienced forumers who give good, useful advice are inclined to exit the community given these circumstances.

think it was for his blog. For the others' infraction, it's just the question of why is he banned like the 2 of you asked. Admin or Mod has not reply for 3 days already and felix is back.
Isn't it hard to explain why others tio infraction simply for asking why the person maintaining the thread is ban?

Well, he got banned again. If really law by law, then anyone posting a blog link in the subforum should get points and those who have URLs in the signature should be infracted too.
