I got one at home. Motorised one. But over time have come to keep in normal mode and use ottoman instead coz mah huan to plug and unplug and change angle when want to get up go loo or take snacks.

Shiok, can rest legs when watching TV. At first will still wipe with leather conditioner but after that bo chup.

Mechanism has been working well for 3 years and still working like normal. Didn't do any maintenance on it at all.

Con: there will be a lot of dust and dirt under the sofa which is not easy to clean. At first will clean but after a while, just close one eye. Won't see it when you are seated on the sofa anyway.

Buy L-shaped sofa better.

You want lounge you go to the L. You want sit normally you go to the other side.

My home motorized recliner set is a 2+1. Left and right side motorized (electrically powered) can reclined till upper body to almost 60 degrees.
Been using it everyday for 8 years with increasing body weight so I’d say investment is worth it. During those lazy weekend afternoons just turn on aircon, set to fully reclined position and watch tv, sure fall asleep.
