asking for wife, as she intend to get a laptop. no need too. as she not into gaming. just want to be able to play game like maple. watch video etc...

please recommend me a laptop where there is shop locally.

Why would you recommend a gaming laptop for someone that ain't gonna game. There are many options around 1k. I suggest to go to the store and see what is on sale.

You can try Asus ZenBook 13. I gave to my nephew and he still uses it.

Amd Ryzen 4600u model, with 16gb ram and 512gb ssd now going for 999 at challenger.
