Hi all,
I am currently looking to buy a new rig as my old one has been defunct for years and I have been surviving on Laptops.
Since I have started working I was thinking of getting a desktop since I do not have to carry my laptop around anymore.
This would be used for casual gaming and wouldn't prolly need the state of the art tech. I am now using a Dell Vostro 3700 and it was serving me fine until now where parts are starting to fail.
Was looking at the Alienware X51 i5 processor since I have $200 off and I can pay for it in installments and also because Dell has on site service and I do not have to travel to fix my computer.
Would just like to check if this is a good buy and if I would build a similar rig DIY how much would it cost? If the price diff is too much I may consider buying it DIY.
*Edit:
Alienware X51 $1599
