I don't think you'll need the CM 212X.... since you're on a quite tight budget, that money can go into something else.

Think the stock cooler will be noisy for this case?
Can spend more but don't really need a powerful gpu.

Get the MSI B85-G43 Gaming + i5 4460 at most for 395. You do not need a H-series motherboard if you do not do RAID.

PC themes does offer some discounts.

I do not think the stock cooler is very noisy.

stock cooler is fine enough unless you are planning to overclock and its not that noisy to the extend that you get irritated by it. I'd go for Gigabyte H97-D3H instead. A little bit skeptical of the killer ethernet after the negative reviews of it by the forumers here. Overall I think it is good enough.

killer ethernet?
:(:(:(

Killer ethernet port that the msi gaming series have, there are a lot of issues about utilizing it from fellow forum-ers here. From the last time I saw a discussion on it, not sure whether anything changed for now.

TS is using a non-HD monitor. Wouldn't a R9 280X be overkill for his needs?

using Dell E228WFP's fast 5ms response time, high contrast ratio and 1680x1050 resolution:eek:

think 750ti/270 is enough ; don't want to use too much power

dont think will be using online gaming, so killer Ethernet not much use

prefer msi bcos corbell is very near to my place

any other recommendation for casing - light, with filter but smaller than 450D?:s11: thanks all

a good case with dust filters I'd recommend Fractal Design Define R4 but it is heavier. Same size as 450D which is a mid tower, but the dimensions might be a little different.

can follow royfrosty's build recommendation and change the GC to msi 750 ti Gaming 2gb and the casing.
