Asus K451LN or UX32LA

ASUS%20Notebooks%20Zenbook%20Ultra%20Slim%20Series%20UX301LA-DE022H%2C%20UX302LG-C4002H%2C%20C4006H%2C%20UX32LA-R3014H%2C%20UX32LN-R4016H%2C%20K451LN-WX005H%2C%20WX154H%2C%20K%20Series%20K551LN-XX201H%2C%20XX021H.jpg

By looking at your requirements, you should be doing IT course.
Some tips for you:
- Just get cheapest laptop which suit your requirements coz after poly you most likely going NS already
- 1080p screen is great to have especially when coding and referring something at the same time but I noticed not many people like the small icons and texts on it so you better hands on with the laptop model first
- Dedicated graphics card is not necessary if you're not going to play game on it plus nowadays the integrated graphics is sufficient for simple photo/video editing and it's more power saving
- At least 8GB RAM if you want to run multiple projects in visual studio, database in SQL Server and multiple tabs inside browser
- If got extra money to spend and willing to pay more for better performance, get 240GB/256GB SSD at least
- The i7 ULV (U series) real-time performance is very similar with the i5 ULV, it feels like another i5 with slightly higher clocked processor speed and slightly more L3 cache (both are dual-core)
- You might want to consider Aftershock M-15 for best after sales service, you could use Windows 8 license from poly, buy your own SSD outside and ask them to install OS on it

Yes, you can
For java development I think can use Eclipse with Mac OS native support
But for c# coding on Visual Studio you will need to install Windows first or use virtualization software

Can but it might lags a bit if you're running certain application on virtualization software due to low RAM
If you installed Windows through boot camp and boot with Windows it should be fine

Yes they should have, the picture was taken from previous IT show.
You can just Google: Asus IT Show/Comex 2014 price list
I got a friend using Intel HD 3000 also no problem
But dedicated graphics card can give some boost when doing photo/video editing and running virtualization
If you're not in rush buying new laptop, you might want to wait til IT show on June next year for new Broadwell processor and fanless design
