So my pc has been restarting randomly for quite a while, not sure what it is due to but something tells me it's the PSU. Thinking of changing it, so appreciate if anyone can recommend me one. And also some advice on how to pick one :)

Using my pc mainly for surfing web and watching movies. Budget is up to $150. thanks in advance guys!

Would help if you could post the specs of your PC. Most importantly the GPU, because the amount of power you need is mainly dependent on that

Brand wise u can try on Evga for all other capacity watt
starting price 450w 80+ bronze $78 with $10 qoo10 discount=$68

No GPU then no need very high wattage PSU. 400W more than enough liao.

U don't really need the 80+ Gold as most of them are 550W and above. You will be utilizing a very small percentage of the PSU power, the power efficiency don't really benefit you as much in terms of cost-saving. Unless you want the longer warranty of PSU such as EVGA G3 series which has 7y warranty, but almost 3x the price of a FSP Hexa 450W then that would be the only positive I would see from getting a Gold PSU.

.
Superflower is busy making PSU for EVGA, neglecting their own line of platinum PSU. I end up getting Seasonic Prime Platinum for my Ryzen rig.

what makes you think so? appreciate the bros here for your advices!
Your system is more than 4 y/o if the info on the right is accurate. Your rig don't use so much power as well given you don't have dedicated gpu. So 400W is overkill. Even 300W is enough to run your system. Unstable psu usually fail at higher wattage usage.

Another possible issue is ram, but that would accompanied with a BSOD when your system crash.

I agree on checking your temps from your bios. A few weeks ago my PC was crashing randomly because the pump from my AIO cooler has failed. I then checked the temp from the BIOS and it was at 90 deg when i start it up.
