Recommend for compact phone

Hello,

Actually was waiting for the Sony Z5 compact,
was disappointed with the Screen/Overheating issue.

Is there any other similar sized phone ?
No iphone pls.

Main Usage - Calling, sms.
Occasionally - goggle map, internet, music playing.
Preferable can work with Japan sim card.
