Hi guys,

Would like a recommendation for a small with a punch gaming rig.

Games AAA Titles ,2015 hardline and gta5 1080p

Budget:1200-1500
Gpu: gtx970
Ssd: Would like 512gb Ssd
Mobo + cpu:?
Psu:modular
Rams:corsair? 16gb?
Os: Win7 or 8?

Not needed :
Don't need optical drive.
Don't need Hdd
Don't need monitor

Would like the build to be a small form pc if possible. Also this rig is solely for gaming. No ms office/documents or media in it. Don't mind asrock gigabyte or Asus mobo. However no msi would be preferred. Was thinking of a gigabyte Mobo with gigabyte g1 gtx970. What do you guys think?

Thanks for reading and helping out.

I think your right about staying away from MSI motherboards.. but on the other hand, I wouldnt say the same for their graphic cards, their models tend to be better quality compared to Gigabyte for example..

In this case which Gpu would you recommend then. For me right now is the best bang for buck performance which I would prefer.

Only split seconds differences on most scenarios.

CPU+MB: Intel Core i5-4460 + ASUS H87I-PLUS @ $340
Intel Gigabit LAN for best gaming connectivity.
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB @ $96
GPU: Zotac GTX 970 4GB Twin Fan @ $448 (PC Themes)
SSD: Crucial MX100 512GB @ $287* (Lazada Singapore)
CASE+PSU: Silverstone Raven RVZ01 + Silverstone SST-ST45SF-G 450W SFX [80 Plus Gold] @ $250 (t258jgn)
Similar profile as Alienware X51.
At just 14 litres.

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit [OEM] @ $115

Total: $1536

Buy others from Tradepac, #05-19. Haggle for discounts.

Naughty looking chassis ;)
