Recommend PC build for Overwatch

Hi,

A little bit about me. I just finish uni so finally have some time to play games. Before this, I was a Mac user. Unfortunately, as you know they suck for gaming. I had to learn the hard way when I bought Overwatch and tried playing it, only to get around 20 FPS on my Macbook Pro.

I am willing to learn how to build a PC on my own, or if the shop can build for me, I also don't mind. I have a budget of $1500. I have these things already:

• Dell UP3216Q Monitor
• SSD and HDD
• Windows 10

I have a lot of spare 2.5" and 3.5" HDD, so one reason I thought it would be good to build a PC is that I can use the PC as a giant enclosure for these drives. So I would appreciate if you recommend a case that can put a lot of drives in it.

I don't know how much time I would have to play games in the future, so would prefer not to wait for parts coming in the future unless it is really worth it. If add a few hundred can get a lot better parts, I don't mind paying more.

Would really appreciate your help! Bonus if can tell me which shop to buy the parts from. Thank you very much.

The good news is that overwatch is not a demanding title. Im not sure what your monitor resolution is, but if HD then get a gtx1060 gfx card otherwise if 1440p or higher, a 1070 will be more than enough to run it at max (or near max) settings at a very high frame rate.

This card looks good. I see it here. Is there any downside to using a mini GFX card?

I have 13 random large and small drives, but obviously don't need to put all inside the PC case, but good to keep as many inside rather than putting them in several USB cases.

The monitor resolution is 3840 x 2160. Here is a link to the monitor. In that case, I should get the 1070 I think.

Runs comparably warmer and louder than those with 2 fans since cooling capability is more restricted with smaller radial heatsink.

But there is a catch for the chassis. You need a mITX motherboard with that many SATA ports and PSU with that many SATA power connectors to fully utilise all these HDD bay.

My recomendation is for those who wants to go small yet powerful. If you don't mind going big, then can consider mid towers.

well it's more of a Fat case and it's a mid sized...though see videos reviews, which seems fat and yet not that high like mid tower casing.

nah it's fine, just that most shop won't do it for free, they still required u to pay a small fees for fixing it up for u.
