Recommend spacious ATX casing with PSU

- have USB3.1 headers with jack
- at least 2 x 2.5" HDD cage and 2 x 3.5" HDD cage
- easy-to-maintain air filters
- <$150 if possible

For PSU:
- the most RELIABLE brand
- 600-650w range
- Bronze rating is fine
- Modular a plus

Is PCT still the place to go for buying case and PSU?

For the PSU, can consider a seasonic M12 620W, Full modular, 620w and wont break the bank.

If you know exactly what you are looking for then can always head to other stores like tradepac for lower prices. PCT is more for people new to DIY who not experienced with hardware market

thanks everyone! I have bought the Fractal R5 with M12-ii.

By the way, is it normal for front panel USB3.0 not to be able to run hard drives properly? I connected my 3TB external (2.5") with a Y-cable (for max power) and the LED light came on, but it wouldn't detect at all.

When I was using my previous case with a Unitek front panel, it connected, albeit at lower transfer speeds (40mb/s compared to back ports, it can hit 120mb/s)

I initially wanted to get Lian Li too, but checked quite a few stores and none of them carry Lian Li, so I assumed they "died down" or something..

Should check if the internal cable is properly plugged in or try using only one end of the Y cable. Try with flash drive and see if it can detect. The only thing usb cannot run is 3.5" hdd as they usually need 12V instead of just 5V.

Please check if u had update your usb3.0 drivers for mobo. Go to product website to download latest.

is there any front panel that can tap on 12v instead of 5v? even better if it has USB-C connections. initially wanted to buy a case with 1 built in, but totally cannot find at all. eventually will need to install 3rd party panel..

flash drive can.

last time when I used the cheap unitek usb3 front panel with my z77 mobo, it can also detect and run my 2.5" RAID0 hard drive well, just at reduced speed..

i plugged into both. it's easy to see whether the hard drive is detected as 2.0 or 3.0 judging from the speed (2.0 will never exceed 30mb/s)
