Recommendation for 2-3TB external harddisk

Any recommendations for a 2-3TB portable external harddisk? Which brand in particular should I consider?

All boils down to luck. Personally, I find HGST, WD, SEAGATE are great. Toshiba mechanical drive not my luck for unknown reason, but their ssd is fine so far.

Never stored important file on external hdd because it was easily to spoil.

It was fine you just to stored unimportant file.

All the brands quality were almost same and you could choose brand giving longest waranty.
