Hi

Please help to recommend budget PC component for my mum's usage. Usage are simple with net surfing, youtube video, facebook games kinda stuff. Budget around $700.

Hopefully for the smallest footprint and a SSD.

Monitor, mouse, keyboard will be re-used.

CPU: Amd Ryzen 2200g (You can compare local and amazon, is international warranty)
MB: Cheapest H370 MB (Source locally, check PC Theme and Trade Pac)
PSU: Evga G+ 650w Gold - $127 @ Newegg (10 years wararnty, too good value to get a cheaper psu)
Ram: Cheap 2666mhz 2x4gb ram - $55 @ Newegg
Casing: Anything you like

Total should be around $500

Thanks all for the reply! As I would be getting later, wont be sourcing online. Looking through PCTheme, this is what I am currently looking at, does below make sense?

I am still lacking a motherboard which I would need wifi. Any recommendation?

Amd Ryzen 2200g - $147
G.SKILL RIPJAWS V 2400MHZ CL15 ( 4GBx2pcs ) - $72
EVGA BV 500W 80+ BRONZE - $79
C.M 110 M-ITX ALUMINUM BEZEL CASING - $60

For windows, I can just download installation from Microsoft and purchase a license key through scdkey.com right?

Can either consider an Intel NUC or those off the shelf Mini PCs from PC manufacturers like Dell/HP/Asus etc...

Check out the brochures from the CEE/PC Show 2019 for price reference. Some might even offer on-site service for 3 years.

I am using a Beelink X55 mini PC for the purposes you stated. Can also consider X45 which is slightly lower. Mini PC may be better option.

ya agree with slowdown, for sff pc usually better to buy the complete package from oem rather than build. some more your requirement not so much, so $700 budget cfm more than enough. for eg before cybermind close for "renovation" they got sell nuc8i3beh kit with all the parts for $455.

Thanks Slowdown, Nightraven49 & teagarden for your reply.

Unfortunately, due to urgency, I have bought it before your reply. In anycase, though this may not be the best option, below is the one I bought.

CPU: AMD Rycen3 2200G
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA AB450N-AORUS PRO WIFI
SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 512GB NVMe M.2
PSU: CM MWE 400W 80+ 230V PSU (3YRS)
Case: C.M 110 M-ITX
RAM: 8GB

All for about $650.

Since it fits your budget, guess won't be too far off from optimized spec.
Enjoy your new rig

Hope your ram is dual channel, AMD cpu will benefit more from dual channel than single channel.
