Recommendation for Build Your Own Computer

Hi everyone.

Been 'surviving' on my laptop for months after my previous desktop died on me a couple of months ago.

Contemplated getting those 'off the shelf' models but it seems like build your own ones can be more value for money (please correct me if I am wrong).

Are there any recommendations on who or which shop to go to for this? Not that much into gaming (mainly just Football Manager and Three Kingdoms kind of games) so I guess AfterShock is not as appropriate?

General uses include Youtubing, web surfing, MS Office (+ some Photoshop etc.) and light gaming.

I multitask quite a lot and have lots of tabs in the browser opened at the same time

multitask/multiple tabs easily solved by increasing ram. Light gaming means no need high end GPU. What kind of monitor you looking for in terms of size?

sadly all curved have to be 25" and above (iirc minimum is 25")

tbh the differences depends on each person, not all will feels its big or not.

For me, the curvature is discernible and enjoyable but still not necessary. Some curved models cost around $100 more over flat screen ones..
