Recommendation for (Carousell) builder

Hi everyone,
I am planning to get a customized set built within the next days. I have found a few offers on Carousell that look ok and have good ratings on the platform itself.

However it's been decades since I had my own desktop and I wanted to make sure I don't do any beginners mistakes in choosing the service provider.

Is using a provider from Carousell reasonable? Am I overpaying because other platforms may offer better deals? Should I approach certain vendors rather directly?
