Recommendation for compact DSLR

Hi bros and sis i am looking at buying a compact DSLR my budget is around 500 and below.

What i normal use it for: Selfies, outdoor shooting,travelling.

Hope you guys can recommend some camera Kinda noob in camera.

$500 can only get you 2nd hand.

DSLRs aren't compact.

If u can only spend this amount, either get a canon Sxx series compact camera, import an Olympus e-pm2 micro4/3, second hand panasonic GF5 or GF6, buy new Nikon D3xxx series, or buy my second hand Nikon D5100.

recommend u to go for mirrorless cameras such as sony nex, olympus pen. Maybe NEX 3N(can flip screen 180 for selfie) if u can still find it on the market
