Anyone can help review directasia's pa policy and see if any significant stuff not covered? i'm thinking of getting it for my elderly parents..

http://www.directasia.com/sg/en/policy-documents/personal-accident-insurance/policy_detail_pa

for parents, u might wanna take a look at great eastern's golden protector.
covers for death, unable to do 3 ADLs, accidental cash injury payout, accidental medical expense reimbursement and hospitalisation benefit.

Hi,

My apologies if i commited any sin for bumping up this thread.

I play sports (mostly football), so far, no major injury. Just some bump & bruises.
My question is, what kind of insurance should i sign up if i get a minor injury?

Example Scenario: Play football. Got knee injury due to receiving a bad tackle from behind. Not sure if serious or not. Went see GP then refer to specialist then go MRI. But decided not to go surgery cause maybe not so serious.

I know there's hospital insurance but you NEED to be hospitalised to make such claim.

Under such situation, in an event i don't want to be hospitalised, what insurance can claim after spending a bomb on doctor consultation & MRI fees?

Please advice.

I heard horror story from my friend who got injured and got no money to pay for medical expenses.

I don't want to be in that position.

Tenet PAStar

Thanks... keep hearing Tenet PAStar whenever i asked about PA. Most probably its a good PA to have. Maybe i should sign up.

If i indicated the accident due to playing football, what are the chances of getting a claim?

Heard from my friends in insurance is that you need to write some sad story on how you get into the accident and dont write anything related to football or playing sports.

Is it true?
