Recommendation for repairs

[darfward]

Hey guys, any recommendations for repairs of laptop and selling of laptop Fans in the area of SIM LIM Square? As I've heard that SIM LIM has a lot of shops and it is somewhat hard to narrow down which company provides the best service and best price? So can anyone provide me some feedback?

Thanks in advance!

Firstly, your question has nothing to do with this forum, you may wish to re-post it in Notebook Clinic - www.hardwarezone.com.sg

But just to share my experience, a few years back my Dell laptop fan failed and I went sourcing around in SLS. Most shops doesn't have the stock and for those who has, they charge like over $100 for it. In the end, I got a used one from ebay for just a few bucks, still work to this day. So if you're technie enough, might want to try DIY.

Anyway, there is this local shop (PCHub) that sells all sort of laptop parts, try doing a search there and get an idea on the cost. They used to be in Peninsula Shopping Center but has since moved to Kaki Bukit.
