Recommendation for Sakura period

In japan guide website Saw pple wrote abt cherry blossom in tokyo, tht's y i was thinking tht so fast???
So the forecast not accurate?

As much as i want to see sakura early for my trip starting from 24 Mar, but please read the report properly!!
The pictures are clearly captioned to be plum blossoms, not cherry blossoms!
The one picture of cherry blossoms were of early blooming variety called Kanzakura, which was also mentioned in the report!

Anyone in Osaka now? Is Osaka castle sakura already blooming?

Just arrived at Kansai this morning .
Saw many blooming cheery trees on the way from Osaka to Kyoto ( along the train tracks / someone's backyards / schools etc ).
I managed to see these 3 locations today :
Full Cherry blossom is seen in the 醍醐寺 （ I paid Yen 1500 )
I went to 出町柳 this evening ；full bloom along the rivers .
100% 白川 cherry bloom with stunning nite lighting .

You may still be able to catch a look at the sakura flowers in Tokyo before they start to fall (estimated next Monday or Tuesday)

Went to 岚山 , Utano Station ( cherry with purple train shooting ) & 奈良 earlier today : full bloom !
