Wna get expert advice please

Purpose: Gaming (I only play Dota2 now), excel/ppt, some extremely light video rendering, web surfing

Have got a few components from the last rig that I could reuse.
MB:
CPU:
GPU: Palit GeForce Gtx 1070 SJS
RAM : Kingston 2x 4GB 2400
Case/Fan:
PSU: Thermaltake Smart DPS 650w
Storage: 1x SanDisk 120GB SSD, 1x Transcend 120GB SSD (problly need a HDD?)

Seeing as you alr have quite slow last-gen ram, ryzen build might not actually be great for u. But highly rec you just get new ram.

Ryzen 2600 or 2600x would be great, and get urself a cheap 1tb SATA ssd off newegg.

I would suggest at least DDR4-3000 or 3200 as Ryzen benefits from faster RAM speed. 16GB is the recommended amount for newer games.

Best to bump up your OS ssd to 256gb or 512gb at least. Use those 2x 128gb either as spare ssd or as external hdd via an enclosure.

might do the ryzen bundle. for dota 2 only, i think its alr running off the top

your ex setup already seems good. increase RAM and PSU and you'll have a killer machine
