Recommendation/Help needed on a rig

Hi all, was thinking of upgrading my PC after 4-5 years. Below is the build i came up with. Any way i can bring the cost down? haha.
Not much of a heavy user. Game played mostly is Dota 2. Will i be able to run games like PUBG or Battlefield 5 with this build? thanks!

HDD/SSD: 2 x 1TB (Reuse)
OS: Win 10 ~$10 (need win10, currently running on win7)

get faster RAM, 3200Mhz. 8GBx2 is ok. AMD like fast ram.

get 1660Ti for GPU?

u using HDD or SSD for OS drive? Get SSD (even 512GB would do) for OS drive.

to be honest, not sure if 450W is enough, it may be enough or on the upper limit?

Dota2 vs battlefield is totally different league, BF5 could draw v big power depending setting u play. Recommend get a 550 -650 gold psu

Change CPU+MB combo to Asrock B450M Pro4 + Ryzen 5 3600 from TradePac
$10 bucks cheaper plus better cpu

You can also get 3200 mhz cl16 locally at same price.
All in all, your ram super overpriced

For GPU, if you don't mind, get a used 1070 instead. You should be able to find one at $200 with 1 year+ warranty left.

Get a cheap air cooler too. Bout $40. Hyper 212 or Gammaxx GTE. You will need it.

Hi guys, thanks for all the recommendations. i've decided to build from a brand new chassis and this desktop as a spare in case anything happens. Should i go for a Matx or ATX chassis?

It depends on ur own decision, if u are wishing to "so call" future proof ur rig to ATX or EATX a the few years time, them MB pro 5 will be better for u.

But that being said, if u wish the hav a small compact rig due to lack of space in ur place, then i will suggest u go for q300p. That is for small compact case. Also if u still want to upgrade ur rig, u can only go for MATX board at most.

For the rest it is up to u to decide whether what usb port or etc u want.

i would personally go for b450m mobo any company other than asus due to horrific bios, and also depends on ur budget. Matx mobo are pretty much cheaper than atx mobo other than msi rog strix

ram wise, i think u can get $100ish on amazon with corsair lpx 3200mhz cl 16, though sls will buck up the price till 120ish, also depends if u want to w8 for shipment. other rams price varies, due to this few days stock issues and whatnot. Do not buy any cl19 rams, its like a bad product in the market unless it is 4200mhz cl19. Cl class must be 16 or lower, there are ppl try to sell u cl 19, becos no one wants it, and they are also trying to clear their stock

Gpu wise, it really depends on what u resolution of games u want, like dota can jus run with 1650, but will still recommand 1660ti or better if u gonna run high or ultra setting, for BFV, without ray tracing 1650s should be alright for mid setting, wont do much throttling (heat and fps). But if u want to go for high setting, rtx 2060 is a must due to better core count.

i assume u are gonna buy the 4gb version for the gpu for 256, i saw 248 from dynacore, $9 diff.

for psu, i think 500w will be good if u want to upgrade, or jus go for 550 if u plan to "future proof" ur rig next time. i personally recommend evga psu

as for coolers, it is totally up to u, u can use the stock coolers provided or buy a "good" coolers, and when i say good coolers there are only a few brand that are good. Hyper212 is not bad but if u the system goes too hot, ur cpu fans will start to run faster or heavily, the noise will be damn loud or annoying so buy some quieter fan coolers like be quiet or noctua, where former u still able to find in sg and latter u can only buy online as there are no distro on this company in sg.

overall, decide ur internal rig b4 thinking about ur chassis.

Did a quick check on youtube
MASTERBOX PRO 5 RGB has 3 fans at the front but it only has 2 small rows of gap for air. It doesn't look like a lot of ventilation.

CM Q300P has 2 ventilation gap which are top and bottom. It seems slightly better than Masterbox Pro 5 RGB at glance but these gaps are covered by filters thus it isn't a big ventilation as well.

MATX or ATX naturally depend on context. Matx exist for the small system, not everyone need those extra pci-e slots. If your house got space, then jsut go for case that is value for money regardless of matx or atx. Naturally, if your house no space, matx is a better choice.
