Hotel Mizuno is more inclined to contemporary japan and western, choose only u u don’t mind. Their dinner is more fusion then the usual Kaiseki style that ryokan serves. the hotel is on the top of a steep slope if you need to go down to the lake, you will have to climb down and up the slope. You can arrange for them to pick you up from the station

thanks for sharing. how about the other 3?

Konansou
Mizno Hotel
Kaze no Terrace Kukuna Hotel
Fujikawaguchiko Onsen Konanso

Shortlisted these 4 accommodations. Price not too far off for all...which to choose?

Konansou is very popular. Lots of sinkies. When I was there I think easily 90% were tourists.

I stayed at Shouhukaku Kogetsu previously. I remember there's no private onsen available to be booked unless you get a room with in-room onsen. Their public onsen is quite big though with indoor and outdoor onsen.

It's a great ryokan to stay. I can still remember that I was able to see Mt Fuji right outside my room window. Enjoy!
