Recommendations for printers (personal use)?

Hey Guys!

I'm looking for a wireless printer. Mainly gonna use it to print my school notes and stuffs, but I expect the pictures/photos on my notes to be printed out sharp.

Sorry for posting because I have got absolutely no idea which one to choose from my my school bookstore catalogue. Every description seems the same to me and prices are not too far off from each other.

im looking at MX727 model, but is it worth the additional $100 over MX527 model?

if you want to print alot, i dont suggest you to buy canon, they have the most expensive printing cost in the market. you can are buying 727, you can consider hp's 8600 plus officejet pro. i saw tampines one challenger selling 399 with 50dollar voucher and some free gift. 3 to 4x lower running cost in the long run compared.

Currently using MG 3170 for almost 2 years.

Inks are Made in Japan... Got the value dollars inks...@ 49 if u get it at IT show it be @45 plus since u are a student, maybe got student price which should be cheaper.

it can print duplex and through wifi.

Got another 4 years plus Brother printer but inks Made in Malaysia. Not much of a single problem yet... only thing is my model of Brother is expensive to get...each replacement avg @ 110.
