Recommendations for Ryzen mITX build

Hello all!

I would like to seek advice and recommendations for my PC refresh. My budget is about $3.5k - $4k (with Monitor and OS, excluding KB and mouse). I would be 1440p gaming mainly on this rig; playing titles such as BF1 and etc. Will also use this rig for other stuffs such as Solidworks. I would be going for a SFF build, and will be reusing components from my current PC.

Here are the list of components that I have looked on, and the components that I would be reusing. I am not going for colour combinations and LEDs. I would like comments on the parts that I have chosen and any recommendations on better and more value for money alternatives would be greatly appreciated!

Processor + Motherboard:
Two choices for me as I am going mITX. Cannot seem to find the pricing for the ASrock board. Current experience with ASrock is good.
ASrock AB350 ITX + Ryzen 5 1600X -
Gigabyte AB350N-Gaming WiFi + Ryzen 5 1600X - $541 - PC Themes

RAM:
Corsair Vengence LPX 3000Mhz 16GB kit - $225

CPU Cooler:
Cryorig H7 does not fit into 250D.

GTX 1080 or GTX 1080Ti? I am not really sure about this. With my case's restrictions, going for mini cards seems like a good choice.

Casing:
Corsair 250D - Reuse

Casing Fans:
Not sure what to get yet. But would need 2x80mm and 2x120mm fans. Would I need a fan controller?

OS:
Windows 10 Home - $120

Monitor:
Both monitors seems rather close to each other, in terms of specifications.
Not sure which one to go for.

Coming from Gigabyte AB350N-Gaming WiFi.

Personal experience would recommend to get non X version of Ryzen as TDP wattage is lower. This will reduce the chances of VRM overheating since you're getting a tower style cooler. For layout placement really come down to personal preference. I built on Silverstone Ryzen RVZ02 and no issue at all.

As for Asrock, I saw there is some thermal issue as well due to QC.
Remember to check the board upon purchase.

Why not opt for 1700 or 1600 instead?

Other parts seem okay. As for the fan part. Both board having same fan headers (1 CPU / 1 board) but Asrock have 1 more dedicated for pump.
I think if noctua fans there is a splitter included?

Monitor i would opt for asus simply because of brand.

Thank you for the comments! I wanted to go for the X version as I thought that they would give me better performance without the need to over clock. I will take note of the QC issues for the ASrock board. I will look into noctua fans too. On a side note, it seems like Cryorig H7 would not fit into my existing case. Will look for alternatives.

You can buy the asrock itx board from our doraemon resident seller here. Price should be $205 iirc.

Go with the 1080ti....should fit your case since it can take GPU up to 290mm in length.

Thanks for the comments! I was considering 1080Ti, but not sure if the $200-$300 bump would be worth it. But I will go research more that.
