Hello all, I am planning to sign 1gbps with MyRepublic that comes with Asus RT-AX3000 router or SingTel with Linksys E9450 AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 Router for my 5 room resale flat. Planning to place the router at the DB box area which is behind the main door.
Any recommendation for wifi mesh? Usual usage at home is approx 6 devices (3 mobiles for steaming/games, 2 iPad for streaming/games, a laptop for work).
Or which fibre plan/network will you guys recommend? Viewquest, M1, StarHub?
Here is my floor plan and hope you guys here can help!
A) Your DP box just beside your Main Door where you need to put ONR with telephone lines or cordless phone.
Check your DP box have any Cat 6 Cables where last time BTO have Telephone point links to every rooms including your Storeroom. If new type of BTO you will have 5 point of Lan sockets, If not you need to ask your electrical to convert all Telephones point into Lan sockets.
B) If you are using ONR then your router will need to setup into access point and put to your TV console and additional access point to set up at Bedroom 2 for whole house wifi. ( One Router will not be able to support good Wifi 5G signal to your master bedroom )

Thank you! Am googling more about ONT, ONR, AP and mesh after reading your suggestion. (sorry am totally clueless about all these)
Would a AP be harder to install and maintain compared to mesh? As I need the Internet for my work so cannot handle downtime due to my configuration etc.

So getting a mesh for you is easy for you to setting up. But please note that for best performance is all mesh set up need to be backhaul with lans cable to your room lan point. Don't use on the wireless mesh set up between two of them.
Best get three mesh you decide where to put additional mesh at which room.
Wifi mesh 7 is very expensive but can be setup for future use, Year 2024 or 2025 most device will start using wifi 7.
