Recommended graphic card

Hi gurus,

My current graphic card Sapphire HD 7850 went to heaven already and I am currently looking to replace one that can allow me to play dota 2 at max settings. Possible can let me know the card 1 tier up as well so I can consider between the 2 and see how far the price range is. My monitor only 1080p.

My system is 4 years + old do you guys think I should change other parts as well? In case their life span is around this period.

Play dota only no need change whole rig ah, if ur com slowing down get a new ssd

Gpu rx480 or gtx 1060 can riaos

Seen people using i7-2k generation with gtx 1080, yr 3k series should be able to last you for another 2 years??
just add one cheapest 1060, which is around $320-$350?

I went ahead to buy the GTX 1060 ZOTAC today but after putting in the card I am stuck at the gigabyte bios screen and no matter what key I press it does not function.

Can anyone guide me? I scare I spoil my pc

Is the monitor connected to the mobo or GPU?

reposition your card, go bios setting and put to pci-e

try on-board graphics and see if work anot

Can anyone guide me? I scare I spoil my pc

stuck @ bios logo manage to go into bios?

Remove GPU first and see if system boot successfully, if able to boot means most probably a gpu problem, if unable to boot means is your system problem already

make sure u connect the 6pin or 8pin cable to the GPU else the GPU no power..
