Seeing as how the Redmi k90 pro max has this year's flagship Snapdragon chip, likely it'll end up as the Poco F8 Ultra? Albeit with a lower capacity battery and possibly a different camera setup.
Good point. leaks suggest that globally the device family will rebrand as the POCO F8 Ultra when it’s released outside China

Actually k90 pro max camera wont lose alot to xm 17 pro max. The sound system better also. If no need the rear screen, can save 200-400.

The Xiaomi 17 pro max is meant to 超越 iPhone 17 pro max
This redmi k90 pro match iPhone 17 pro.
It's really quite nice tbh.
I only wish they didn't nerf the Ultra wide. If it has a proper 14mm wide and price for the 512 at about 750 sgd, it would have been really nice.
Right now seem like realme gt8 pro the most balance as a mid priced but 吊打 top end with 2k screen, camera collab and relative good camera at 750 sgd equivalent.
I feel their redmi lineup and pricing a bit buay sai leh... At 700+.. got so many choices like iqoo 15.. realme gt 8 pro... And the regular oppo x8 and vivo x300...

Yeah, they are pricing themselves out of the competition unless the rest start to up their prices too..

K90 Pro Max is quite expensive and so far early reviews cameras don't seem very well optimized for what's essentially a 4000 yuan flagship despite good on paper camera hardware

But base K90 is more interesting, slightly smaller this time round and gain a 2.5x telephoto
If it becomes F8 Pro, then it's price race against F7 Ultra gonna be very interesting

And if it hit F7 Pro's SGD $360~400 next q3-q4 it's actually pretty damn imba
Just bring esim to Poco F and i think it clears the under $500 price range easily

Hitting F7 Pro's sub $400 was after it's release for 6mths liao, and need to consider if there's even stock available at that juncture.
With the recent higher release prices, doubt that there will be much stock left even if it reaches such prices.

K80 and K90 only 2499 & 2599 apart, 100 yuan ~ $20 SGD should still be fine if scaled accordingly

K90 Pro Max become F8 Ultra might not be so affordable since it's like 500-600yuan increase
